Surroundings
The Tuscia area of Viterbo is one of the richest regions both in terms of landscape and historical-artistic heritage. Parks such as that of Bomarzo, castles belonging to ancient noble families such as the Farnese, lush nature like that of the Marturanum Park, and splendid historic villages: all this and much more can be found in this territory, shaped over millennia by the activity of the Vulsini and Cimini volcanic systems.
